Motivation

Language serves to convey, explain, build bridges, and touch the heart. However, communication only succeeds if both parties speak “the same language”. As translator and interpreter, I strive to overcome language barriers to foster connections among diverse individuals. I prioritize high standards, continuous learning, and linguistic excellence in my work, including thorough proofreading and editing. Beyond freelancing, I apply my language proficiency to contribute to international development cooperation, promoting cultural exchange, and amplifying the voices of marginalized global communities.

Get to Know Me

I love spending my leisure time outside, running, biking, or hiking with my husband. We live in the beautiful Black Forest and enjoy watching the vegetables grow in our garden before turning them into delicious dishes. The only unfulfilled yearning I feel here are for the ocean and the stunning dune landscapes along the coast of the Northern and the Baltic Sea, which are a constant destination on my bucket list. In my Christian home church, I am involved in the music division and youth programs.

 

Besides my self-employment, I serve as Executive Assistant to the Permanent Representative of the World Evangelical Alliance at the United Nations in Geneva. Previously, I was working for the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem as Youth Coordinator and Education Commissioner as well as in the translation and editorial department.
